Source code for the first tutorial in a series on particles in XNA

Well as mentioned in my previous post, here is the 3D particle system again only this time the particles are scaled. You will find 4 projects in the download, 2 for XNA 1.0 Refresh with one being for the PC the other for the XBox and the same again for XNA 2.0

Example of PointSprite particles, I have had up to 10K of particles on my crummy laptop with the FPS in the 70's. All the physics are on the CPU so you could probably squeeze some more out of it if you moved the physics to the GPU. This project includes a basic FPS counter too. Blog post is here...
