    Demos

I think I have posted on this before, but I would love there to be a scene like this in the XNA community and I kind of would like to be one of the first to start doing it.

Here are some old school samples

Anyone interested in doing content? 2D images, simple low polly models, audio etc...??

Think it could be fun...just hope there are others out there that will take up the flag and try and out do us... we could be the XNAUKUG crew lol

Wait there while I go and get myself some shell toes, a jubbly and a 1/4 lb of cola cubes....does anywhere still do sweets by the oz??

    Re: Demos

Did you know that Microsoft sponsored some teams for the Asm07 demo competition?

Here's one group, but there were a few entries done in XNA. They weren't great, as the programmers were still getting used to XNA and fighting the differences from their usual development environments but worth checking out.

Why link to videos when the real thing is usually smaller and better quality :) Here's one of my favourites.

    Re: Demos

Did you try the executable? Watching it run in real time on your pc, knowing that the whole thing is just one 177kb program is cool.

Thats pretty cool too, the site was a bit mushed up, but downloaded the archive so got to have a good look at them.

How do they get the xnb resource files down to such a small size????  LOL
