I have recently come across a number of books that are published by Packt Publishing, a couple related to XNA and one for the Android platform. All three perked my interest, the later as I have done a small amount of Android development for work in Java, but I started out as a C/C++ programmer so I thought it would be cool to check this book out as it covers Android development using C/C++

Here are the books I am going to cover in the next three posts.

XNA 4.0 Game Development by Example: Beginner's Guide – Visual Basic Edition

2403EXP_XNA%204.0%20Game%20Developement%20by%20Example[1]

Windows Phone 7 XNA Cookbook

1208ot_mockupcover_cb[1]

Android NDK Beginner’s Guide

1529EXP_Android%20NDK_cov[1]

Hope you find the reviews useful :)

I love that you guys are reviewing books. Always fun, when it is a good review of course.

I would love to see something about Shaders tho. I haven't really understand the principles of how it work and to make a good shader.
