No need to get a job in the industry any more lol.

How many 360 users are there, lets say a million (I know they are over that now lol) so I put my game on for 200, lets say 1% (optimistic I know) buy it over time; multiply that by 200 giving me 2,000000 points, so 70% of that is 1400000... I think £8.50 for 1,000 points so I could make £11,900,000

There must be something wrong there.... I know my maths sux so probably my calc

Think I would be happy making 200 points lol Just need to get a Premium CC membership.

Be good to see Leaf and Robins "little" project progress too.

Kind of glad I did not get my turn anyhow, I HATE public speaking, even though there was only 7 of us (I think), I would have still erupted into a bag of nerves and maybe passed out....maybe me passing out would not have happened, but I would not have enjoyed it :P

When is the next meet then....?

As for Sensi - I loved playing Sensi on the Amiga, almost as much as I loved Kick Off 2, and memories of those games have certainly been an influence. The XBLA version of Sensi was for me a big let down. In some ways not messing with what was a great formula was a good idea but I felt that they really should have allowed you to utilise analog controls and give you more than 8 directions. Some of the UI would have benefitted from being ripped out and rewritten, and the "updated" graphics are pointless.

Fitba's trying to offer something different, we're in full 3D so that although the default pov is from a similar top down angle to Sensi and Kick Off 2 we can drop down and use different cameras for setpieces where having a different view can be of benefit to the player. We're trying to have a control system where the ball isn't stuck to the players foot, but where you can understand when you are in control or not - where you can turn with the ball only if it's under your control. But the best way of seeing what we're trying to do is to play the game - try the demo out & let us know what you think.

With the Blender exporter I'm planning on putting a tutorial together showing export through to XNA, just a question of getting some time to put it all together.

Cheers,

Fritz
